As Managing Partner of Union Square Events, Ron has led the company’s evolution from a single-focus catering operation into culture, sports and large scale events by building key strategic relationships with new business partners of like-minded focus intent upon improving the guest experience.
Prior to USE, Ron held key leadership positions at parent company Union Square Hospitality Group for over 4 years, from Operations Manager of all USHG’s acclaimed restaurants to Building and Opening Coordinator of the company’s four food service operations at MoMa (The Modern, Café 2, Terrace 5 and Art Food).

John Harenda
Director of Operations
As the Director of Operations for Union Square Events, John is responsible for developing and implementing best practices for the companies’ catering, sports and large-scale event divisions to continually move the business forward, and expand existing operations.
Prior to joining Union Square Events in July 2012, John spent the past decade working with some of the most prominent catering companies and large-scale event producers in NYC and Chicago (including Beyond Events, Patina Group, Restaurant Associates’ Golf Division, and Abigail Kirsch) guiding Operations and Joint Ventures with the focus of establishing successful standards of protocol.

Ted Zizlesperger
Regional Manager of Sports & Entertainment
As the Regional Manager, Ted is responsible for USSE’s growing Sports & Entertainment properties, including the operational success of Citi Field, Saratoga Race Course, Nationals Park, and Public Fare at the Delacorte Theater.
Prior to joining USE in 2009, Ted held key operational management positions at Restaurant Associates businesses, and later POS Company Positouch in the New York Metro area.
Ted is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management.
